A note from our president,
Marianne Slama

Marianne SlamaFaces of LWML are many.  They include the young and old; they include those of different shapes and sizes, and include different nationalities.

Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is a Christian organization of individual women and groups within congregations of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.  Nebraska District North makes up one of forty districts.

“Serving the Lord with gladness” is our adopted motto.  We do this by supporting mission grants and ministry through our mite box offerings.

Our desire as a district is to follow the words found in 1 Peter 4:11, “Whoever serves must serve with the strength God supplies so that in every way God receives glory through Jesus Christ.  Glory and power belong to Jesus Christ forever and ever!  Amen.”

"Being With Jesus--Living on the Edge"

They realized that they had been with Jesus... 'For we cannot but speak of things which we have seen and heard.'
